Just a few loose ends to tidy up from this, the inaugural season of the Belfast Angels. The traditional end of season blitz took place at Newforge Lane and the extended summer of 2015 managed to hang on just a little longer.

A successful rookie campaign sporting a 6-6 record, the Angels enjoyed the day, winning the first two games and taking a 3-1 record into the semifinal where they matched up against the Aces. A tight game, the Aces stretched their lead to 9-5 in the fifth which left too much for the Halos to do.

Not deterred however, the Angels scrapped three runs back to lose the nailbiter 9-8. Finishing tied third on the day, the Belfast Angels capped a solid first year with their heads high.
