BBSC dominate league awards
The trophy cabinets of a few members of the Belfast baseball teams will be slightly more full moving into 2016.
Terry Rosbotham of the Buccaneers took two awards, the Jimmy Archer Silver Slugger and the Fergy Malone batting championship with 29 H, 31 RBI, 0.580 BA, 0.644 OBP and 0.940 slugging percentage.
Jon Carter of the Bucs and Colin Woods of the Hornets would share the William Beglane award for the best pitcher and Melvin Woods of the Northstars took the Jimmy Walsh award for the Most Valuable Player of the B League North with a 0.512 BA, 23 RBI, 12 BB and 27 SB.
Mark Smith of the Hornets was also honoured, setting a new league record for home runs with 8.
