Bear with us....
After a forfeited game against the Belfast Brawlers, the Belfast Angels have some ground to make up. They look to try tomorrow afternoon at Strandtown Primary School against the big hitting Cubs.
With the Cubs boasting no end of defensive ability and pop in their bats, Slevin and Craven's team will have to be on top of their game tomorrow to turn over the men and women in purple as they look to stay within touching distance of the top of the Softball Ulster league table.
No slouches themselves at the plate and ever improving in the field, the Halos will not be intimidated as the midpoint of the season rapidly approaches. A packed schedule awaits the Angels over the next month and with the Brawlers, Sliders and Cubs all jockeying for position in the top half of the table, every win is critical.
First pitch tomorrow is 2pm. #GoHalos
